My Reflection

I think we learned many imortant things through this course. I studied how to make my presentation and the imortance of cooperating with my own group in this course. It is difficult for me to speak in the front of the public because I am shy and I am not good at speaking English, so I tried to practice my pronunciation and speak lively. I could know my good points and bad points thanks to my teacher's advice. I achieved them for next presentation. I also copied good points of other group's presentation.

When I make my slides, I used a lot of information and pictures. I could learn many things then for example the country's history, systems of my University and Japan's custom and so on. I am interested in other group's presentation. I am glad to have had chance of improving my skill on English.I could enjoy this course. I will try my best in the next course.

Language study Resources and Counseling Desk

I will introduce Language Study Resources and Counseling Desk in LTC. First I explain Language Study Resources. LTC has many books for example textbooks of TOEFL and TOEIC, Japanese history and culture, reading books and so on. We can take them out bookshelf whenever we want to read them. But we are not allowed to take them on the outside. They are selected carefully and plainly classified. Of course, books are an English versions or bilingual versions, so you can study English efficiently. The book which you need will be found here.

Second I will explain Counseling Desk. You can receive advice concerning English study, mainly TOEFL and TOEIC by two profession members here. Use time is from 9:00 to 17:00, from Monday to Friday. If you have troubles about these tests, they will give you good advice. I think that LTC is easy to study. If you have never used LTC, I want you to use there to study efficiently.

Japanese Winter

I will explain Japanese winter. Winter is the coldest season as you know. There are some events in Japanese winter for example Christmas, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and Valentine’s Day and so on. I introduce two things of them.

First, New Year’s Eve is called oomisoka in Japan. Most Japanese eat soba so as to be lucky year on the night of the day. If soba is left, the next year becomes bad. We can see this custom around Japan. Let’s eat soba without leaving it.

Second, we send New Year’s card with congratulatory words and graces on New Year’s Day. It is the same as Christmas card of your country custom. And we eat mochi which made from glutinous rice and osechi which is a collection of many foods on New Year’s Day.There are other many attractive points in Japanese winter. You should try to find them.

Montmartre Grape Harvest Festival

I explain how to get to Montmartre in Paris. The first point is Narita Airport. We should fly to Charles de Gaull International Airport in Paris. Then change the subway called metro 12line, and we can arrive at Anvers Station near Montmartre. It is good for us to walk or ride on cable car from there to Montmartre. It takes about thirteen hours to get to there from Japan and costs about 100,000yen. The time different between Tokyo and there is seven hours.

Monmartre located in north Paris is a hill. And it is one of places of interest in Paris. So I think that we can also enjoy not only the autumn fesival but also many interesting places.

The Alhambra

I explain how to get to the Alhambra in Granada. Sadly, there is not a direct flight from Japan to there. So we must go to Spain way of countries of the Europe. The first Starting point is Narita Airport. You have to ride in a plane to Baraja Airport in Madrid. And change the plane for Granada Airport. When you arrive at Granada, it is convenient for you to take a bus from Granada to the Alhambra. Then you can get to there!

It takes about eighteen hours to get to there from Japan. It is very far and costs about 700,000yen. So I recommend a package tour. Because it is reasonable. If you use it, you will enjoy some sightseeing besides the Alhambra.

Nagashima Spaland

I examined about General Theme and characters.

First I am going to talk about General Theme.The Nagashima Spaland is a major amusement park in Mie Prefecture. The Nagashima Spaland as an amusement park is the second largest next to Tokyo Disneyland in Japan. It was opened in 1966. There are many facilities around Nagashima Spa Land for example Jazz dream Nagashima , village of Nabana, Nagashima Spa, and Jumbo seawater pool.Many people visit there in order to enjoy amusements, spas, shopping, and eating.

Next I will talk about characters.Originally, WOODY WOODPECKER was an image character in Nagashima Spa Lands. But　mascot character was changed　by being opened　Universal Studios Japan in Osaka in 2001. Nagashima　Spa Land uses Peter Rabbit as character　now. It sells the characters sandal s and float rings.

Recommendation:This is a great movie and very interesting.Jonny Depp is handsome and carefree.there are two sequal in the movie. (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End)This movie makes it lively for me. I really recommend that you see it!

Recommendation:This is the best love story I had ever seen.Many people have seen it.It is longer than other movies. But It has the value to see and was not boring. There are more thrilling and moving scenes in this story. If you have not seen it, you should do it.I want everyone to watch it.

Recommendation:This movie is popular between children. But adult can also enjoy it. I like it because this　story makes me heart warming. A group of seven adorable dwarfs is interesting and cute. They have different characters. I glad to meet athis movie.
